Our Centre Directors

Jenna Kirby
Centre Director, Bargara Rd
Jenna has been in the Early Education profession since 2005 and holds an Associate Degree of Learning Management.
Originally from Bundaberg, Jenna has spent her lengthy child-focussed career building her skills and knowledge of the industry whilst working across Central Queensland and Western Australia, before returning to the beautiful Bundaberg area with her husband and two children.
Jenna prides herself on the relationships she builds with the children and families in her service and values the importance of play, inclusiveness, and connection to positively support their growth and development. Through strong leadership, she fosters and promotes this same culture in the Educators she works with and believes to work successfully in this profession you must carry this passion. As a Director, Jenna strives for Acorn East to be seen as a home away from home for our children and encourages long term partnerships between the service and our families, to further support and nurture their journey with us.

Jessie Munzenberger
Centre Director, Branyan St
Jessie Munzenberger is a passionate and inspired director. She advocates for children’s rights, quality care and has the utmost respect for nature and children’s play!
Jessie has been in the Education and Care sector for nearly 15 years. Her experiences have taken her on a pathway that includes working in a variety of centres, advisory work, and assisting to further teach and mentor upcoming educators and staff in her chosen field.
Jessie is only new to Bundaberg after moving her family from Newcastle, NSW in 2019. She aspires to build strong partnerships with families, carers, staff and the local community of Bundaberg, and looks forward to working alongside families to nurture, grow and deliver the highest quality care to your most precious belongings- your children.
